Cohan travels to many countries shooting freelance for organizations such as NGO’s and Medical Mission Teams. Her nursing background is a great asset for her as she finds herself photographing many patients in desperate need of medical care. For many years, she has had the opportunity to serve on medical teams providing care that is life changing.
The humanitarian part of her work is a large part of her skill set as well as connecting to her subjects through her lens. She loves traveling to other countries and working with organizations to capture their extraordinary work in the field.
